Following the news that the Matt Reeves-directed The Batman has found its Catwoman, multiple outlets report that Jonah Hill has reportedly passed on the thriller.

According to multiple outlets, Hill is no longer in talks to star in The Batman. According to Variety, news of Hill’s casting surfaced very early in the negotiations and that a deal was far from closed.

When reports first surfaced in September that the actor was in talks to join the film, it was rumored that he is set to portray a villain, either the Riddler or Penguin.

In other The Batman casting news — Zoe Kravitz has officially signed on to play Catwoman a.k.a. Selina Kyle.

The Batman is expected to hit theaters June 25, 2021.
