“The Batman,” “Sopranos” Get New Release Dates

The 2021 release schedule has been reshuffled again. 

Warner Bros. has shifted a whole bunch of theatrical release dates due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. 

The Batman, originally expected to debut June 25, 2021, will now launch in theaters on October 1, 2021, with the Sopranos prequel, titled The Many Saints of Newark pushed from September 25, 2020, to March 12, 2021.

Other flicks impacted by the changes to the studio’s theatrical release calendar include The Flash, which was moved forward a month to June 2, 2022, Shazam 2 which is now set to launch on November 4, 2022, Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley biopic will now hit theaters November 5, 2021, and King Richard pushed back a year to November 19, 2021.
