The Bear is one of the breakout shows of the last year, and the wait for its second season will soon be over. FX unveiled the poster for the next chapter of this thrilling series and revealed it would return to our small screens on June 22.
The first season of The Bear saw a young chef Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) leave the world of fine dining behind to return to Chicago and run his family sandwich shop in the wake of his brother’s heartbreaking death.
The second season will see Carmy, Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) strip the restaurant down to its bones in an attempt to transform their grimy sandwich joint into a next-level spot. Each member of the crew will take a transformational journey of their own, confronting the past and reckoning with who they want to be in the future.
The Bear also stars Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, Edwin Lee Gibson, and José Cervantes, with Molly Gordon and Bob Odenkirk joining them in guest roles.
The first season of the FX series was met with critical acclaim, receiving nominations for best comedy series at the Critics’ Choice Awards and Golden Globe Awards, while Jeremy Allen White picked up several awards for his leading turn.
