The Bear is one of the most exciting shows on TV right now, and there’s a lot of anticipation leading up to its second Season. FX just dropped a short teaser giving us a glimpse of the show’s next chapter, which hints at The Beef’s major makeover.

FX’s official logline describes The Bear as a show about “food, family, the insanity of the grind, the beauty of sense of urgency and the steep slippery downsides.” The first season saw a young chef Carmy work alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew at the family restaurant The Original Beef of Chicagoland following his brother’s tragic death.

Over the course of the first eight episodes, we’ve watched Carmy do everything in his power to transform the local restaurant into a respectful establishment. Season 1 ended with The Beef closing its doors, making room for a new restaurant called The Bear.

Season 2 teaser sees the show’s ensemble, including Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Abby Elliott, leaving the past behind and trying to start anew.

“It’s not a reopening, it’s a rebirth,” reads FX’s logline for Season 2, and we’ll get to see what that means when The Bear returns this June.
