The days when we used to subscribe for a single streaming service are long gone, and HBO Max is one of the most promising newcomers on the market. After scoring the streaming rights for the beloved sitcom Friends, they did the same with The Big Bang Theory.

HBO Max managed to secure exclusive streaming rights to all 12 seasons of this Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series which ended its run on CBS earlier this year. All 279 episodes of The Big Bang Theory will be available on this streaming service, under the five-year deal.

Robert Greenblatt, chairman of WarnerMedia Entertainment, said they’re thrilled to become the streaming home for this show when HBO Max officially launches in the spring of 2020.

“This show has been a hit virtually around the globe, it’s one of the biggest shows on broadcast television of the last decade, and the fact that we get to bring it to a streaming platform for the first time in the U.S. is a coup for our new offering,” stated Greenblatt.
