“The Book of Boba Fett” Gets a Premiere Date

The Mandalorian spinoff The Book of Boba Fett will premiere on Disney Plus on December 29.

The show was first teased during the Season 2 finale of The Mandalorian and in it, legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand are navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to claim the territory that Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate once ruled.

Temuera Morrison will return to play Fet and Ming-Na Wen will be returning as Shand.

Morrison was first in the Star Wars universe in the prequel film Stars Wars: Attack of the Clones, playing Jango Fett and he returned for“Revenge of the Sith” as a number of clone troopers. He also voiced many Star Wars games and returned as Boba in Season 2 of The Mandalorian.

Wen first played her character in Season 1 of The Mandalorian and she voiced the character in the animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch.

Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson serve as executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.
