It seems that Amazon Prime has finally struck gold. The boys has now become one of the platform’s most-watched shows ever and the most binge-watched series of this year.
This, evidently, came as no surprise to the network itself as the satirical superhero series was renewed to a 2nd season days before the 1st season went online. Nevertheless, they seem to be happy about it. Jennifer Salke, Head of Amazon Studios said in a statement that the show has surpassed their predictions for viewing in its first two weeks and has become one of their most-watched Amazon Original series. “This creates great momentum and excitement for us as we get ready for season two.”

The show stands as the 36th highest-rated show of all time with 8.9. it is the most highly rated show of Amazon Prime, surpassing multiple Emmy winners as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel which is rated 8.7 and Fleabag which is rated 8.6. it is also the highest-rated non-animation superhero series with Daredevil and The Punisher trailing it with 8.6.
