The Boys is coming back to Amazon for Season 2, but before it does the platform released an official trailer for the upcoming season.

The trailer shows ex-CIA operative Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and his group on the run from the superheroes known as The Seven. The Seven is led by Homelander (Anthony Starr) and they’re backed by Vought International, a conglomerate that’s trying to produce a serum that gives normal people superpowers. Vought’s plan is to get enough “supes” to hold more power than the U.S. government. Butcher and his group are trying to stop Vought’s plan from happening.

A new superhero named Stormfront (Aya Cash) is also introduced in the trailer. Homelander is threatened by her powers and Stormfront is willing to do anything to be in power.

Jack Quaid, Laz Alonso, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Nathan Mitchell, Claudia Doumit, Goran Visnijc, Malcolm Barrett, Colby Minifie, Shantel VanSanten, Cameron Crovetti, PJ Byrne, Laila Robbins, and Giancarlo Esposito also star in the series.

The Boys will return on September 4 with a three-episode premiere. Don’t forget to watch the new after-show Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys, hosted by Aisha Tyler, which premiers on August 28.
