After six consecutive years, Calvin Harris’ reign is over and The Chainsmokers are officially the world’s highest-paid DJs.

Harris was dethroned by The Chainsmokers duo Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, who claimed the No. 1 spot with $46 million over the past 12 months. Harris dropped to No. 3 with $38.5 million, behind the masked DJ Marshmello, who earned $40 million, which secured him the No. 2 spot. Rounding out the top 5 are Steve Aoki and Diplo, with $30 million and $25 million respectively.

Known for their high-profile collaborations with artists such as Coldplay and Halsey, the duo hasn’t released an album since April 2017, they did, however, drop multiple singles — five so far, this year.

“We work with artists because it makes sense [and] because we’re excited about them,” Pall told Forbes in 2017. “Anytime we work with someone, it’s because they offer something to us creatively that inspires us.”
