Check Out “The Croods: A New Age” Trailer

Nicolas Cage, Catherine Keener, Cloris Leachman, Leslie Mann, Peter Dinklage, Clark Duke, and Emma Stone in "The Croods: A New Age"

After a long wait, The Croods has finally released the trailer to the sequel film.

The trailer for The Croods: A New Age begins with Emma Stone’s Eeep reintroducing her family while they search for the “perfect place to call home”. After they discover a paradise that meets all their needs, they encounter a problem—a family called the Bettermans live there. The Bettermans live a “modern life” which is very different from the Croods, and the families must put aside their differences and work together when a new threat comes their way.

“This film may be a crazy, epic, comedy-adventure, but at its heart, it’s about two very different families discovering that their future is brighter together,” said director Joel Crawford.

Voicing their original roles in the Crood family are Stone, Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Catherine Keener, and Cloris Leachman. Kelly Marie Tran (Star Wars) voices Dawn Betterman, and Leslie Mann and Peter Dinklage voice her parents in the sequel film.

The sequel has had a bumpy star as production for the film was originally set for two years after the 2013 film with a release date of November 3, 2017. In November 2016, DreamWorks announced the film’s cancelation before announcing in 2017 that the film was back in production.

The Croods: A New Age is set for a Thanksgiving November 25, 2020 release date.
