The Crown will end its run with the upcoming sixth season, and its release date is just around the corner. The streaming giant dropped a short teaser trailer to announce the release date of the upcoming season and revealed it would be divided into two parts.

The new teaser sees Queen Elizabeth climbing up the stairs and shows her transformation through the years, while her younger self delivers a powerful speech.

The Crown is a symbol of permanence. It’s something you are, not what you do. Some portion of our natural selves is always lost. We have all made sacrifices. It is not a choice. It is a duty. But what about the life I put aside? The woman I put aside,” she can be heard saying in the teaser’s voiceover.

Imelda Staunton will return as Queen Elizabeth in the show’s final season, alongside Jonathan Pryce (Prince Philip), Lesley Manville (Princess Margaret), Elizabeth Debicki (Princess Diana), Dominic West (Prince Charles), Salim Daw (Mohamed Al Fayed), and Khalid Abdalla (Dodi Fayed).

Season 6 of The Crown will return to Netflix next month, and it will be divided into two parts. The first four episodes will premiere on November 16, while the remaining six will be available for streaming on December 14.
