The sixth and final season of The Crown is coming to Netflix in just a few weeks, and it’s shaping up to be the most harrowing one yet. The first full trailer for the show’s final chapter is here, and it captures Princess Diana’s darkest days.

The trailer opens with a montage of melancholic scenes from Lady Di’s life, and she’s shown playing the piano, looking out to sea in her iconic blue swimsuit, and being followed by paparazzi at every turn.

“Don’t really understand how I ended up here. Dashing around and losing sight of myself in the process. I think that’s been the story of my whole life,” says Elizabeth Debicki’s Diana in the opening scenes of the trailer.

The rest of the trailer shows how other members of the royal family are dealing with the media attention Diana is facing, with Queen Elizabeth (Imelda Staunton) saying, “All one wants is for that girl to find peace.”

In addition to Staunton as Queen Elizabeth and Debicki as Princess Diana, the final season of the royal drama will also star Jonathan Pryce (Prince Philip), Lesley Manville (Princess Margaret), Dominic West (Prince Charles), Salim Daw (Mohamed Al Fayed), and Khalid Abdalla (Dodi Fayed).

The Crown will return on November 16 with the first four episodes, while Season 6 – Part 2 will be available for streaming on December 14.
