The CW Plotting “Superman & Lois” TV Series

Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch in "Supergirl"

The CW is home to many of our favorite DC superheroes, and its constantly expanding its offer of TV shows inspired by this comic book series. If their plans come to fruition, the network’s next DC series will be focusing on the iconic couple Clark Kent and Lois Lane.

Superman & Lois will star Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch, and it will revolve “around the world’s most famous Super Hero and comic books’ most famous journalists as they deal with the stress, pressures, and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society.”

Hoechlin and Tulloch are no strangers to playing these characters, since they already appeared in several Arrowverse shows, including Supergirl, The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

Todd Helbing, who serves as one of the executive producers on The Flash, was in charge of writing this series. He’ll also be executive producing it alongside DC Universe architect Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns via Berlanti Productions.
