“The Empty Man” Debuts First Trailer Just Ahead of Its Release

James Badge Dale in "The Empty Man"

20th Century Studios has released the first trailer for The Empty Man just ahead of its release next week.

The Empty Man has been pushed back so many times, that it was pretty much forgotten by most.

The supernatural horror film is based on the graphic novel by writer Cullen Bunn and artist Vanesa R. Del Rey. The Empty Man follows the disappearance of a group of teens who are being investigated by a retired cop (James Badge Dale).

“On the first night, you hear him. And on the second night, you see him …Well on the third night, he finds you,” a girl says in the trailer.

The film will be the feature debut for writer-director David Prior and also stars Marin Ireland, Stephen Root, Ron Canada, Robert Aramayo, Joel Courtney, and Sasha Frolova.

The Empty Man hits limited U.S. cinemas on October 23.
