The second season proved even more popular than the first, becoming Netflix’s most-watched English language series when it premiered in March. The love story between former rake, Anthony Bridgerton, and newcomer, Kate Sharma, captivated hearts as the two played out the enemies-to-lovers dynamic from the novels.
With millions having tuned in, it was in no way surprising that Netflix renewed the show for a third and fourth season. The streamer confirmed—via Lady Whistledown—that the series would break away from the order of the novels, with Season 3 instead focusing on Penelope and Colin.
Principal photography for Season 3 began in July and we now have our first look at what to expect.
Bridgerton is known for its marvelous balls and a purple one looks to be coming our way! The scene was filmed at a West London estate called Osterley Park, with book fans believing it could possibly be of the annual Smythe-Smith quartet concert.
