The future of The Flight Attendant has been uncertain ever since Season 2 wrapped up two years ago, and Max officially confirmed its cancelation. The dark comedy series won’t take off for another season, and its leading lady Kaley Cuoco finally said her goodbyes to the reckless flight attendant Cassie Bowden.

The show’s cancelation didn’t come as a huge shocker for Cuoco, who previously told People that it feels like “the plane has landed” following Season 2 finale. She echoed her words in an official statement confirming the show’s cancelation, as one of its executive producers.

“What started out as an attention-grabbing book cover quickly evolved into an extraordinary flight of a lifetime. I always envisioned TFA as a limited series and thanks to an incredible creative team, we were able to deliver two thrilling seasons,” said Cuoco.

Based on Chris Bohjalian’s book of the same name, this series chronicled the globe-throttling adventures of the alcoholic flight attendant Cassie Bowden, whose life turned into a nightmare after a first-class passenger she spent a drunken night with was found dead.

In addition to Cuoco in the lead real, the supporting cast of this hit series also included Zosia Mamet, Griffin Matthews, Deniz Akdeniz, Rosie Perez, Michiel Huisman, Colin Woodell, T. R. Knight, and Michelle Gomez.
