“The Handmaid’s Tale” Gets Season 4 Trailer and Release Date

Elisabeth Moss in "The Handmaid's Tale"

Elisabeth Moss’ June is ready to take on Gilead in Season 4 of The Handmaid’s Tale.

The Emmy-winning dystopian drama based on Margaret Atwood’s novel is returning on April 28. Like previous seasons, the 10-episode Season 4 will debut three episodes at once, before dropping the remaining episodes weekly.

The series co-stars Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Bradley Whitford, Ann Dowd, and Max Minghella.

Season 3 ended with June and other Handmaids and Marthas leading an escape of a plane full of children out of the former USA to Canada. Season 4 will see June recovering from the injuries she sustained and planning a new insurgence.

“We fight,” Elisabeth Moss’ June says in the trailer for the upcoming fourth season.

June’s life amid the rebellion is depicted in the trailer while a Radio Free America broadcast is played. “No matter where the war finds you today, remember we are still here,” says the voice of Radio Free America.

The Handmaid’s Tale was renewed for a fifth season back in December.
