“The Handmaid’s Tale” Releases Season 4 Teaser, Announces 2021 Return

Elisabeth Moss’ June Osborne will be continuing her revenge on Gilead in the fourth season of The Handmaid’s Tale.

“I can’t rest. My daughter deserves better,” she says in the teaser. The series is set to return in 2021 and the tagline for Season 4 is “Change never comes easy. Blessed be the squad.”

Moss will be directing the upcoming season, marking her directorial debut.

The Handmaid’s Tale was created by Bruce Miller and it’s based on the novel of the same name by Margaret Atwood. It’s set in a dystopian America where fertile women called handmaids are forced to bear children.

The Hulu series won a Primetime Emmy for best series. Daniel Wilson, Fran Sears, Eric Tuchman, John Weber, Frank Siracusa, Sheila Hockin, Kira Snyder, and Yahlin Chang also star in the series. 

Will June be able to pull off the ultimate escape and move all the children of Gilead to Canada? We’ll have to wait until 2021 to find out, but for now, check out the teaser below.
