The Kelly Clarkson Show was a real breath of fresh air on NBC’s daytime schedule, and we’ll be getting more of it. The network decided to renew the hit variety show for a second season.

Tracie Wilson, executive vice president of creative affairs for NBCUniversal Television Distribution couldn’t wait to share the amazing news with Clarkson’s fans. “The Kelly Clarkson Show is connecting with viewers in a unique way and we are so happy to build on that momentum, bringing Kelly’s brand of humor, heart, and, of course, the incredible ‘Kellyoke,’ to stations for a second season,” she said in an official statement.

This show has been a huge success ever since it premiered on September 9th. With an average of 1.9 million viewers per episode, it ranks as the no.1 new syndicated program of the fall TV season.

In addition to attracting live viewers, Kelly Clarkson’s show is also a huge hit on social media platforms, mostly thanks to its viral “Kellyoke” segment, where the host covers recent and classic songs picked by her audience.
