The Man in the High Castle is going off the air after four seasons of exploring alternative history, where we’re still living under totalitarian regime. Amazon announced this dystopian series will air its final season this fall.

The Man in the High Castle imagines what the world would be like if Nazis and Imperial Japan won World War II. In this alternative version of reality, a mysterious film that shows reality resembling our own fuels the resistance and serves as foundation for new revolution.

The acclaimed series is based on the 1962 novel by the famed sci-fi author Philip K. Dick. His daughter Isa Dick Hackett served as one of producers and thanked the whole team for their hard work over the past four years.

“It has been a great privilege to work alongside our extraordinary High Castle team, in partnership with David Zucker and Scott Free, to bring my father’s classic novel to life, particularly during this tumultuous period in our real world,” said Hackett.
