Everything we did brought us to where we are now.

Which is a month before the final season of Game of Thrones premieres.

In anticipation for what is likely to be the most epic season of television ever created, HBO has released the season 8’s first trailer and our hearts are racing as fast as Arya’s.

The one-and-a-half minute clip accurately sets the ominous tone for our final trip to Westeros which is due to centre around the battle between the armies of the living and the dead.

“I promise to fight for the living. I intend to keep that promise,” Jaime can be heard saying as images of dragons, soldiers, and shocked faces flash across the screen.

Season 8 has already promised to deliver a massive battle, entitled The Battle of Winterfell, which took 11 weeks to film.

And, as with all episodes of GOT, the possibility of death is dangerously high, as is emphasised by Arya saying, “I know death, he’s got many faces. I look forward to seeing this one.”
