Insidious: The Red Door is coming to theatres this summer and it will bring back many familiar faces. The first trailer for the fifth installment in the Insidious franchise is here, and it brings back several original cast members, including Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, and Ty Simpkins.

Insidious: The Red Door serves as the direct sequel to Insidious and Insidious: Chapter 2, and it sees the original cast return for the final chapter of the Lambert family’s terrifying saga.

“To put their demons to rest once and for all, Josh (Wilson) and a college-aged Dalton (Simpkins) must go deeper into The Further than ever before, facing their family’s dark past and a host of new and more horrifying terrors that lurk behind the red door,” reads Sony’s official logline.

The cast will also include Andrew Astor, Lin Shaye, Sinclair Daniel, Jarquez McClendon, Peter Dager, and Hiam Abbass. In addition to playing one of the lead roles, Wilson will make his directorial debut with this project, from a script written by Scott Teems.

Insidious: The Red Door will be released on July 7 by Sony Pictures Releasing, as the fifth film in this successful horror franchise, which grossed over $542 million worldwide across four films.
