“The Punisher” Returns in First Season 2 Teaser

Jon Bernthal in "The Punisher"

Many of Netflix’s shows left the streaming service in 2018, but The Punisher is still around and going strong. Frank Castle is back to work and ready to continue his journey in the new teaser trailer for season 2.

The short clip doesn’t reveal much, but it comes to show Frank (Jon Bernthal) will be burning all the bridges in season 2. He’s shown setting his full and unconditional pardon on fire, before taking his keys and embarking on a new adventure.

Showrunner Steve Lightfoot previously revealed new season will see Castle traveling across the United States and finally “adopting the mantle” of the Punisher.

This unlikely hero will cross paths with several pretty colorful characters along the way, including Amy Bendix – a teenage grifter with a mysterious past.

The new season of The Punisher is expected to be released on January 18, 2019, and there’s a chance it’s the last one we get on Netflix. This is the last Marvel show left standing on this streaming service, along with Jessica Jones.
