Hey now, look at that!
Samuel L. Jackson is about to get all up in that horror business by joining the reboot of Saw.
It was announced earlier this year that the gruesome franchise would be returning to theatres, this time with Chris Rock in the lead role and that of executive producer.
Jackson has now signed on to play the father of Rock’s character who is investigating the grisly murders conducted by the serial killer Jigsaw.
Also adding their names to the cast are Max Minghella of The Handmaid’s Tale and Marisol Nichols from Riverdale.
“We think Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Rock along with Max Minghella and Marisol Nichols make this film completely special in the Saw canon and we can’t wait to unleash this unexpected and sinister new story on fans of this franchise. This is next level of Saw on full tilt,” said Chairman of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, John Drake.
While Lionsgate is keeping plot details under wraps, it has promised fans a suspenseful ride.
Saw is out October 23rd 2020.
