Paramount has finally dropped the highly anticipated trailer of Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
The official first look finally arrived Tuesday and fans were delighted to see that the classic hallmarks of Sonic are present, including his transformation into a blue ball.
According to Deadline, the film follows the “(mis)adventures of Sonic as he navigates the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound — human — best friend Tom Wachowski (Marsden). Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination.
The big-screen adaptation of the hit Sega video game is a live-action — animated hybrid. It stars Jim Carrey as nemesis Dr. Robotnik, along with James Marsden, Tika Sumpter Natasha Rothwell, Neal McDonough, Adam Pally and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic himself.
Sonic The Hedgehog hits theaters on November 15. Check out the trailer below.
