“The Tomorrow War” Trailer: Chris Pratt Stars in Time-Traveling Sci-Fi Film

Amazon has released the first look teaser for the upcoming sci-fi thriller The Tomorrow War starring Chris Pratt.

The film, which will debut on July 2, stars Pratt as Dan Forester, a high school teacher who’s recruited by a group of time travelers to fight a future war. Soldiers and civilians must travel to the year 2051 to save the planet from an alien species that are threatening life on Earth. Forester teams up with his estranged father played by J.K. Simmons and a brilliant scientist played by Yvonne Strahovski to save mankind.

The Tomorrow War was written by Zack Dean and directed by Chris McKay. Pratt is executive producing with Rob Cowan, Bradley J. Fischer, and Brian Oliver. Co-producing are Jules Daly, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, David S. Goyer, Don Granger, Adam Kolbrenner, and Samantha Nisenboim.

Rounding out the cast are Edwin Hodge, Sam Richardson, Betty Gilpin, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Jasmine Mathews, and Ryan Kiera Armstrong.

Pratt is best known for leading Disney-Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and the Jurassic World films.
