The past is not what it seems.

That’s the message from the first full trailer for Frozen 2.

The sequel to the 2013 Academy Award-winning film has taken 6 years to materialize, but it appears to have definitely been worth the wait!

Disney’s description for the film states, “Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom.”

Our friends from Arendelle must now embark on a quest to discover the origin of Elsa’s powers while keeping safe from pink fire, dangerous fog, and even monsters.

The trailer begins with Elsa facing the ocean and putting her long blonde hair in a ponytail. As any woman will tell you — when she tightens her ponytail, stuff’s about to go down…

“Go North, across the enchanted lands and into the unknown. But be careful. We have always feared Elsa’s powers were too much for this world. Now, we must hope they are enough,” the leader of the trolls explains.

Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown have joined the cast, with Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad reprising their respective roles as Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf.

Frozen 2 hits theatres on November 22nd.
