The Weeknd gave his fans an amazing Thanksgiving present when he dropped two brand-new songs in a matter of days, and one of them just hit the no. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “Heartless” is currently his fourth single to earn this coveted title.

The Weeknd originally dropped the single on November 27th and shared the official video last week. Glitzy visual filmed in Las Vegas certainly helped him build even more hype and reach the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Only two days after “Heartless” came out, The Weeknd unveiled another equally amazing single. “Blinding Lights” was released on November 29th, and both songs are expected to be featured on R&B star’s upcoming fourth studio album.

The Weeknd is no stranger to topping the charts as three of his previous singles reached no. 1 in the US in the past. “The Hills” and “Can’t Feel My Face” scored the top spot in 2015, and his Daft Punk collaboration “Starboy” repeated their success one year later.
