The Weeknd’s new album is a gift that keeps on giving, and after we’ve all been listening to it on repeat this weekend, he just gave us another amazing treat – a new music video for his latest single “In Your Eyes”.
The gory video, directed by Anton Tammi, plays out like an old slasher movie, and it has the same aesthetic as the rest of the music videos from After Hours. It sees The Weeknd going on a bloodthirsty chase after a woman played by Zaina Miuccia, but his pursue doesn’t end the way he intended.
The Canadian singer’s latest LP After Hours hit the shelves on March 20th, and it was met with positive reviews. It’s his first album to feature zero collaborations with other artists, but the deluxe edition comes with several pretty great remixes.
It’s safe to expect After Hours will easily reach the no. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 next week since it already broke the record for the most global pre-adds for an album in Apple Music history. It also gave us The Weeknd’s fourth single to top the charts in the US with “Heartless”.
