The second season of The White Lotus took us to Sicily, and we’re already getting ready to pack our bags and jet off to another resort. The critically acclaimed anthology series will be back for another wild ride after HBO announced its renewal for Season 3.

The White Lotus creator Mike White said he’s excited to reunite with the incredible team at HBO for another season. EVP of HBO Programming Francesca Orsi echoed his statement, praising White for creating one of the most acclaimed shows on HBO, despite its humble beginnings.

“Reflecting on The White Lotus’ humble, run-and-gun origin as a contained pandemic production, it’s impossible not to be awestruck by how Mike orchestrated one of the buzziest and most critically acclaimed shows,” said Orsi in a statement.

The White Lotus premiered on HBO in 2021 to rave reviews and embraced a similar approach with both seasons. A group of wealthy travelers visits one of the lavish White Lotus resorts, scattered all around the world, and they’re forced to face their inner demons instead of enjoying a perfect week in paradise.

The show’s second season is currently airing on HBO, and it stars Jennifer Coolidge, F. Murray Abraham, Michael Imperioli, Aubrey Plaza, Will Sharpe, Theo James, Meghann Fahy, and Sabrina Impacciatore.
