Amazon has released a trailer for Little Marvin’s horror anthology series Them.

Them explores terror in America with the first season titled Them: Covenant featuring a Black family living in the ’50s who move from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighborhood during The Great Migration. The family’s home soon becomes a place where they are threatened and taunted by supernatural forces and their neighbors.

The trailer has no dialogue but offers a terrifying look at the neighborhood and the forces within.

Starring in the series are Alison Phil, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Deborah Ayorinde, Melody Hurd, and Ashley Thomas.

Them is created and executive produced by Little Marvin, who also serves as writer. Executive producing are Lena Waithe, Don Kurt, Miri Yoon, David Matthews, and Roy Lee.

“I’ve always been a genre fan. I love specifically psychological horror. I always wanted to put a black family, frankly, at the heart of the kinds of stories I love the most, the classic kinds of horror movies that I never saw us centered in,” Waithe told Entertainment Weekly.

Them premiers on April 9 on Amazon Prime. Check out the trailer below.
