There’s No Competitiveness Between Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood

Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are not having any of your bad vibes!

The past American Idol winners were put head-to-head during a poll by The Tylt, over who the public believes is the “most iconic winner” of the singing competition.

Kelly won the first season back in 2002, while Carrie claimed the title during the show’s 4th season in 2005.

Since then, both women have achieved success — Kelly, by releasing 8 albums and winning 3 Grammy awards; and Carrie having 7 Grammys, as well as being named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People in 2014.

The I Don’t Think About You singer spotted the survey, and, instead of sharpening a competitive edge, she decided to acknowledge the accomplishments which both women have achieved.

Her fellow Idol backed her up, with the What I Never Knew I Always Wanted songstress calling for publications to celebrate women’s success rather than pit them against one another. Preach!

As far as we can tell, they’re both winners.
