John Mayer is going to want to get some better security.

It appears as though the singer’s home was a wonderland for thieves who broke into the Hollywood Hills property last Friday.

According to the police, an unidentified number of culprits broke a window of the home which they used to enter through and steal thousands of dollars worth of music equipment and other personal belongings.

The worth of the items has been estimated between $100,000 and $200,000.

Thankfully, John was not home during the time that the incident occurred.

The In the Blood musician has inhabited the house for only 3 months since buying it from Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine, and his model wife, Behati Prinsloo, for over $13 million.

We guess there was no love for him this weekend…
