Another new face joins the forthcoming season of NBC’s hit drama This Is Us.
20th Century Fox TV, the studio that produces the show confirms that Tim Matheson has been cast in season 4 of This Is Us. Matheson is set to star in a recurring role as Dave, the father of Rebecca (Mandy Moore). His appearance on the show will mark the first time Rebecca’s father has been seen onscreen series.
“Rebecca is a bit of a daddy’s girl. There are certain things that they don’t align on. But I think at the end of the day she really loves her father for who he is. He’s quite protective of her,” Moore previously told Entertainment Weekly.
In addition to series’ stars Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, and Justin Hartley, the fourth season of This Is Us will also star a slew of new faces including Jennifer Morrison, Omar Epps), M. Night Shyamalan, Nick Wechsler, Asante Blackk, Marsha Stephanie Blake, Timothy Omundson, Bahara Golestani, Julian Silva, and Auden Thornton.
