Although the reboot of Predator, a sci-fi action movie from the ’80s starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, is set for release in 2018, we didn’t have an opportunity to learn much about it in the recent time. At least, until now. Speaking for Shadow Nation, one of the movie’s actors Thomas Jane has decided to offers some insights into the movie’s plot.

Jane portrays a war veteran, who participates in group therapy with other soldiers suffering from PTSD. Eventually, one of the soldiers “flips out”, resulting in the group’s arrest and them being thrown into a bus. Things get interesting when an unknown man joins them.

“And he’s a guy they’ve actually marked to kill him because he’s seen a UFO, he’s seen the Predator ships come down so they lock him up and throw him in with us lunatics.” said Jane. “They’re going to take that bus, drive it down to a ditch and shoot us all just to get rid of this one guy. But, of course, we take the bus over and we’re all like “f**k the men.'”

The only thing we managed to see from the movie’s material is a promotional poster that recently surfaced online.

Predator started filming in February 2017, and wrapped up the shooting in June. The initial release date was set for spring of 2018, but has since been moved to August in order to avoid the fierce competition on the box office like Deadpool 2 and Star Wars‘ Han Solo movie. The movie is being directed by Shane Black, director of Iron Man 3, and will star Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes and Keegan-Michael Key alongside Thomas Jane.
