The cast of the third season of The Morning Show is shaping up to be pretty amazing and another major player just joined the ensemble. The acclaimed stand-up comedian and Army of the Dead actress Tig Notaro has been cast in Season 3 of the Apple TV+ drama.

Notaro will star as Amanda Robinson, the chief of staff to Paul Marks, played by Jon Hamm. His character has been described as a corporate titan who sets his sights on UBA, pulling Billy Crudup’s Cory, Jennifer Aniston’s Alex, and Reese Witherspoon’s Bradley into his powerful orbit.

Nicole Beharie is also among the new cast members of the show’s third season, in the role of a grounded, competitive and charismatic anchor Christina Hunter. Julianna Margulies recently announced she’ll reprise her role from Season 2, while the rest of the cast is yet to be confirmed.

Notaro is currently starring in Star Trek: Discovery and the third season of The Morning Show isn’t the only exciting project she has on the way. She’s set to reprise the role of Marianne Peters in the anime-style series Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas, in addition to being attached to films We Have a Ghost and Your Place or Mine.
