Tim Allen, who voices Buzz Lightyear, has teased more about Keanu Reeves’ mystery role in the film.

A teaser trailer was recently released for the upcoming Pixar sequel, which will bring back most of the original cast. It will also introduce a set of new characters, one of which will be voiced by The Matrix actor, Keanu Reeves.

Tim Allen has voiced the proud albeit bombastic Buzz Lightyear since day one and he will be returning for the third sequel of the franchise. On The Tonight Show, he told Jimmy Fallon that Keanu Reeves has got a “great part” in the movie. He also shared a little sneaky inside preview of the character.

He said: “Actually, a little inside story, even [Reeves] said – gentle, wonderful guy that he is – ‘[His character] sounds too much like Buzz Lightyear’ and his character does have an edge to that – and the guy said, ‘So we calmed him down a little bit’.”

In other Toy Story 4 news, an official synopsis of the movie was released with the trailer last week. It reads:

“Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie,” it reads. “But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called ‘Forky’ to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.”

Toy Story 4 will hit theatres June 21, 2019.
