Timothy Olyphant is the latest star attached to The Mandalorian Season 2.
The Santa Clarita Diet actor joins previously announced Temuera Morrison, Rosario Dawson, and Michael Biehn and it’s still unknown what his role will be.
Olyphant is also known for his roles on Justified and Deadwood, the former of which he received an Emmy nomination. His film roles include Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Dreamcatcher, The Girl Next Door, Live Free or Die Hard, and Hitman.
Season 2 of The Mandalorian is set to be released later this year and Season 3 is already in the works at Disney+.
The series is about the Mandalorian, played by Pedro Pascal, a bounty hunter on the fringes of the Star Wars universe, and how he becomes the guardian of a mysterious creature known as The Child, or by fans as Baby Yoda.
There are three other Star Wars shows in the works at Disney+, which include the Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor, the Cassian Andor series starring Diego Luna, and the recently announced all female-led Star Wars series from Leslye Headland.
