Netflix continued the story of its megahit film series To All the Boys with a spin-off XO, Kitty, and its future is looking bright. Kitty Song Covey’s journey to find her true love will continue after the streaming giant renewed this teen rom-com for its second season.

XO, Kitty shifted focus to Lara Jean’s little sister and passionate matchmaker, Kitty Song Covey, as she embarks on her own journey of self-discovery. After traveling across the globe to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend in South Korea, Kitty comes to learn that relationships are much more complex when your own heart is on the line.

Anna Cathcart returned as Kitty, reprising her role from the original film series, along with John Corbett and Sarayu Rao. The supporting cast also includes Choi Min-young, Anthony Keyvan, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Peter Thurnwald, and Regan Aliya.

The show’s leading lady Anna Cathcart held onto hope that Kitty’s story will continue in Season 2, especially since there are so many exciting storylines worth exploring in the next chapter.

“There are so many different directions this story could go in. The season ends with a lot of possibilities…I just hope Kitty continues to give herself the space to figure it out and follows her heart,” the actress told Style Caster.
