Tom Bergeron & Erin Andrews Leaving “Dancing With the Stars”

The host of Dancing With the Stars, Tom Bergeron, will be leaving the show after hosting for 28 seasons. Erin Andrews’s who has co-hosted since Season 18 will also be exiting.

Bergeron made the announcement on Twitter saying that the show will be continuing without him.

“Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It’s been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I’m grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made. That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?,” the host tweeted.

Bergeron co-hosted all 28 seasons of the dance competition from 2005 to 2020, with over 450 episodes.

ABC and BBC Studios thanked him and Andrews for hosting the series noting that the show will be moving in a new direction, “Tom Bergeron will forever be part of the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ family. As we embark on a new creative direction, he departs the show with our sincerest thanks and gratitude for his trademark wit and charm that helped make this show a success. Erin will also not be returning, and we appreciate all that she brought to the ballroom. Fans have been rooting for her since she originally competed as a contestant back in 2010, and her signature sense of humor has become a hallmark of the show,”

Hannah Brown, the former The Bachelorette star took home the Mirrorball trophy with her partner Alan Bersten beating Sean Spicer, Karamo Brown, Kel Mitchell, and James Van Der Beek in the most recent season.
