With $13 billion grossed over his four-decades-long career, Tom Cruise is one of the biggest action stars in Hollywood—and he just found a new partner in crime. The Oscar-nominated actor formed a new strategic partnership with Warner Bros., set to include original and franchise theatrical titles.

Cruise and Warner Bros. go a way back, and he starred in multiple high-profile projects for the studio, including his hit movies The Last Samurai, Magnolia, Eyes Wide Shut, and Interview with the Vampire. Their collaboration ended with sci-fi action flick Edge of Tomorrow in 2014, but they’re finally coming back for another ride!

Cruise will develop and produce original and franchise films which he’ll star in through his new strategic partnership with Warner Bros. and he can’t wait to get to work with David Zaslav, Michael De Luca, and Pam Abdy.

“I have great respect and admiration for David, Pam, Mike, and the entire team at Warner Bros. Discovery and their commitment to movies, movie fans, and the theatrical experience. I look forward to making great movies together!” said Cruise in a statement.

Cruise’s Warner Bros. partnership isn’t an exclusive nor first-look deal, and he’ll continue his collaboration with Paramount on the Mission: Impossible franchise, in addition to working on a new space movie with Doug Liman for Universal.
