The Thor star has been cast to lead White Stork.

Multiple outlets confirm that Netflix has picked Tom Hiddleston to front its forthcoming political thriller. The series—created, written, and executive produced by Christopher Dunlop—has been given a 10-episode order by the streaming giant.

The British drama series, formerly known as Spadehead, delves into the paradox of truth in a post-truth world. According to Deadline, in White Stork, “when James Cooper (Hiddleston) is selected to run for a seat in parliament, Asher Millan is sent to vet him for primetime. But she quickly uncovers potentially damaging secrets buried deep in James’ past. Secrets that will threaten to blow everything apart — his career, his marriage, even the powerful people backing his campaign.”

White Stork is produced by Eleven, the same production company behind the streamer’s Sex Education.
