It’s impossible to imagine anyone but Tom Hiddleston taking on the role of Loki, and fortunately – we won’t have to. The British actor will go back to playing this iconic character in a newly-developed Marvel TV series.

According to recent reports, Hiddleston will be reprising the role in a new series for Disney’s upcoming streaming service Disney+. There’s been a lot of speculations surrounding the future of this character in the MCU ever since Avengers: Infinity War came out, but it turns out we still haven’t seen the last of him.

Shortly after Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger announced the amazing news, Tom Hiddleston confirmed he’s coming back. He shared an image with the brief message, “Loki. More stories to tell. More mischief to make. More to come.”

The release date remains a mystery, but this fan favorite reportedly isn’t the only MCU character getting his own series. Scarlet Witch, Winter Soldier, and Falcon are also in the mix, and we’re yet to see if any of these spin-offs actually pans out.
