The 24-year-old British actor has revealed the first image of himself in the iconic blue and red suit.
Tom Holland took to Instagram to treat fans to a behind-the-scenes pic of himself as Spider-Man on the set of the still-untitled Marvel sequel Spider-Man 3.
The image of the famous superhero also included a very 2020 appropriate addition, with the actor, in the spidey suit sporting a white PPE face mask.
“Wear a mask, I’m wearing two…,” he captioned the pic.
The photo was reposted by Sony Pictures and the Spider-Man: Far from Home Twitter accounts.
It was confirmed in October that Benedict Cumberbatch will join Holland in the upcoming Spider-Man sequel reprising his Marvel character Doctor Strange. It is also reported that Jamie Foxx is in talks to reprise his role of Electro in the film.
And while the film’s storyline is being kept under wraps, it’s fair to assume that Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, and Jacob Batalon will also reprise their franchise roles in the forthcoming film.
Spider-Man 3 is slated to be released in December 2021, five months after its initial date.
