Toni Collette has just landed her next gig with Netflix.
Multiple outlets confirm that the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress has teamed again with the streamer for a new drama series titled Pieces of Her.
Collette is set to headline the upcoming series based on the Karin Slaughter novel of the same name.
In Pieces of Her, “a random act of violence in a sleepy Georgia town sets off an unexpected chain of events for 30-year-old Andy Oliver and her mother Laura (Collette). Desperate for answers, Andy embarks on a dangerous journey across America, drawing her towards the dark, hidden heart of her family.”
The television adaptation of the story hails from writer, executive producer, and showrunner Charlotte Stoudt.
Collette previously starred in Netflix’s acclaimed drama Unbelievable.
