Topher Grace is getting ready to return to television.

Grace, who played Eric Foreman on That ’70s Show, will star in the new ABC sitcom Home Economics if the project goes to series.

Home Economics is a single-camera comedy about three adult siblings: one in the one percent, one in the middle-class, and one barely making ends meet.

Grace will play Tom, the middle child who’s also in the middle class. His character is a novelist who’s had success with a couple of books, but his latest novel didn’t fair well. Tom wants to reach his brother’s financial standing, but he’s afraid he’ll end up where his sister is at.

Writing and executive producing the project are comedy duo Michael Colton and John Aboud (Penguins of Madagascar) along with producing partners Eric and Kim Tannenbaum (Two and a Half Men).

The pilot is the fourth comedy being developed by ABC and it joins Prospect and Work Wife which are also in the development stage.
