Travis Scott has had an amazing year and it looks like 2019 is going to be just as successful.

TMZ reports that the 26-year-old rapper will join Maroon 5 on the stage of the 2019 Super Bowl halftime show. The news comes months after Maroon 5 was announced as the headliner.

And according to the outlet, we should expect more performers to be added to the mix as Cardi B and Big Boi are reportedly “in talks” to also join the show.

The upcoming Super Bowl halftime show has already known its fair share of controversy with sources reporting that Rhianna turned down the gig in support of quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

“Rihanna was the front-runner for next year’s Super Bowl halftime show,” a source told the outlet in October. “CBS and the NFL reached out to Rihanna first, who, after thinking about the offer, decided to pass due to the NFL and the situation regarding players kneeling.”

Scott had an amazing year both professionally and personally with a No. 1 album Astroworld and a hugely successful tour as well as welcoming his first child, daughter Stormi with girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
