The Halloween-set adventure film has cast Joel McHale and Thomas Lennon to its cast.
Per Deadline, the film is about trick-or-treaters who have an encounter with teenagers who steal their candy. They gather their neighborhood to help them get back their Halloween treats and to save Halloween.
Treat Street will be produced by North By Northwest and it’s Simon Snead’s directorial debut.
Best known for his role as Jeff Winger in Community, Joel McHale has also been in a number of movies including Spy Kids: All the Time in the World and Ted and he hosted The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale. He is currently hosting Card Sharks.
Thomas Lennon’s works include The Slate, Reno 911!, and The Odd Couple.
Treat Street begins shooting next spring in Spokane, WA.
