Nicki Minaj collaborated with several amazing artists this year, and Ty Dolla $ign is the next one in line. The duo dropped a music video for their new single “Expensive”, which shows them flaunting their lavish taste.
The Romain Laurent-directed visual shows Ty Dolla $ign spoiling his girlfriend with the finest things in life. He spends most of the time carrying expensive gifts around and dealing with CGI bills flying out of his pocket, while Minaj makes a brief appearance towards the end of the video.
This isn’t the first song that Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign released together. Back in 2017, they were both featured in Jason Derulo’s hit track “Swalla” and they teamed up again in 2019 when Megan Thee Stallion invited them to drop a few verses in her breakout hit “Hot Girl Summer”.
“Expensive” serves as the second single from Ty Dolla $ign’s upcoming studio album Dream House. It was preceded by “Ego Death”, a star-studded collaboration featuring Kanye West, FKA Twigs, and Skrillex.
