Earlier this year, Usher said he’d love to headline Super Bowl – and his dream is actually coming true! The R&B singer has officially been confirmed as the headlining act at the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show, taking place in Las Vegas in February.

The NFL and Apple Music confirmed Usher’s involvement with a series of cheeky videos that show the skeptical singer receiving a call about his headlining spot from several celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Deion Sanders, Marshawn Lynch, and Odell Beckham Jr.

The eight-time Grammy winner previously appeared as a guest during The Black Eyed Peas’ halftime show at the Super Bowl XLV, and he’s looking forward to being the main attraction.

“It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before. Thank you to the fans and everyone who made this opportunity happen,” said Usher in a statement.

The Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show will take place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on February 11, 2024. Usher is planning to drop his next studio album Coming Home on the same day, set to feature his recent single “Good Good” ft. Summer Walker and 21 Savage.
